Run a back to save the current data before restoring. **<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In HorseTrak choose &#8220;Restore Saved Data Files&#8221; from the File menu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Click &#8220;Select Backup file set to restore&#8221; button and choose the backup file you want to restore. Install HorseTrak on the new machine and activate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Run a data backup on the old machine&#8217;s HorseTrak &#8211; this is the built in backup function.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Copy the Backup File to a Thumb Drive or attach it to an email so that you can get the backup file to the new machine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4. Using the Restore function on the new machine, restore the backup data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5. Test and compare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Depending on the software on the old machine, you may need to upgrade the version of HorseTrak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Older versions are not compatible with newer versions of Windows.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div id=\"qaef-69\" class=\"qe-faq-toggle installing\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"qe-toggle-title\">\n\t\t\t\t<h4>\n\t\t\t\t\t<i class=\"fa fa-minus-circle\"><\/i> I&#8217;ve been a customer for years and I&#8217;m never kept informed on your products!\t\t\t\t<\/h4>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<div class=\"qe-toggle-content\">\n\t\t\t\t\n<p>We try and keep people informed as much as possible, but users frequently change their email address because of excessive spam, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can follow us on Facebook through the link below.
